Operation: Rally for Charles

Operation: Rally for Charles

There’s a bond that forms in the hangar, in the air, and through every busted bolt and last-minute fix before a mission. And for the shitter community, that bond doesn't end when the uniform comes off.

Right now, one of our own — Charles Bierkamper — is in a fight far beyond the flightline. He’s battling cancer and unable to do the job we all love. If you’ve ever turned a wrench with him, flown with him, or even heard his name, you already know: Bierkamper is the real deal.

From HMT-302 from ’03 to ’07 as a crew chief and CDQAR, to working on the civilian side since 2016, he’s been ripping with us for decades. Whether training boots, mentoring new mechanics, or leading by example, he’s helped shape the very backbone of this community.

Now it's our turn to pay him back for the service he has done for us, directly or indirectly.

Why We’re Rallying

Charles is currently on short-term disability with partial pay, and it’s not enough to cover the cost of treatment and the toll cancer takes — not just on the body, but on daily life.

A group of his brothers — Marines and civilians alike — reached out. The message was simple:

“We need to get this man back in the fight. He’s one of ours.”

So we’re doing what Marines do best.
We circle up, and we handle it.

How We’re Backing Him

  • We’re using our platform to help drive traffic and support to the official GoFundMe for Charles Bierkamper, created by those closest to him.
  • We're launching a limited merch release, where all profits go directly to Charles’s recovery. Every shirt sold, every order placed, it all goes toward helping him fight and recover.
  • We have put a donation channel on the main store to allow for donations to a Direct fund that will be directly delivered to the family.
  • We're sharing his story because this isn’t just charity; it’s a brotherhood.

What the Community Is Saying

Family First

This isn’t just about cancer. This is about taking care of the ones who took care of us. It’s about showing up the way Charles always did, without asking, without hesitation.

If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the mission. Whether it’s a share, a dollar, or a message, everything helps.

Let’s get Charles back on his feet. Back on the flightline. Back with the people who never stopped believing in him.

Semper Fi,
The Team
